What Are You Thankful For?

Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I thought I might share a few of the things I am thankful for this year:

I’m thankful that I have a job, a home, and people who love me.

I’m thankful to all of the authors I’ve read whose work inspired me to use my skills for more than just writing corporate instruction manuals and reference materials.

I’m thankful that I have an agent and editor who believe in my work, and for all of the fans—readers, bloggers, and other authors—who enjoy and share their love of my books.

I’m thankful I’m finally in control of my debt.

I’m thankful that I’m in a position to help people who aren’t doing as well as I am this holiday season (and I urge you to do the same by donating or volunteering your time to a food bank, local shelters, etc).

    Dark Faerie Tales for believing in me and letting me review for them.
    Twitter for helping me meet some extraordinary people that share their thoughts and feelings on everything.
    to the precious friendships that have risen from mutual likes and sarcasm.
    the sun rising in the morning, reminding me that today is another day; for better or worse – but still new.
