What Are You Reading?
Now that all the writing, editing, guest posts, and holiday madness is for the most part behind me, I’m thrilled to be able to take some time to myself to catch up on my reading.
For paperbacks, I’ve been plowing through Yasmine Galenorn’s Otherworld series the last few weeks and really enjoying them. I’m on the fourth book, Dragon Wytch, and having a blast getting sucked into the adventures of the D’Artigo sisters. Fae and sex and magic, oh my! Some wickedly good urban fantasy here. If you’re interested in checking them out, start with the first book, Witchling.
When I’m done with Yasmine’s books, I’m going to catch up on Kim Harrison and Jim Butcher. After that, I’ll start digging into Patricia Briggs’s Mercy Thompson series, which I’ve been meaning to get started on for, oh, about three years.
For ebooks, I’ve been reading review books. Finished A Hint of Frost on Sunday and reviewed it Monday. Got started on a pretty fun YA I’ve been digging into, but I’ll stay mum about it until I read the whole thing. Once I’m done with that, I have a ton of Kindle books I downloaded over the holidays that I would like to get to, like Vamped by Lucienne Diver, Under the Dome by Stephen King, The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, and Blood, Smoke and Mirrors by Robyn Bachar.
What about you guys? Get any good books over the holidays? What are you reading now?
